A little sharing about how my perspective has changed working in Christ.

Hello fam, this week’s writing will be quite different, just a short, lightweight session to share some things that are more relatable. I just thought that it’d be nice to share my experience working in Christ up till now and moving forward.

First off, if you’re new here – Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you! What is your name? No, like really what’s your name?

I’m honestly as excited to connect with you better whether I know you, or not. But hey, that’s how people start connecting right?

What about me? I am an entrepreneur, a writer, and a proud warrior of God. I’ve always seen writing as a wonderful way to express oneself. That is why I’ve challenged myself to launch Versify – my first ever (to-be) social media Christian writing platform! Haha I know, that’s a long title. But welcome aboard; we’ll start this journey together, are you in?

I come from a Christian background; born as one and raised as one. Since young, I’ve always had Jesus in my life as a best friend, a dad, a counsellor, a therapist - everything. It’s basically who I talk to, period. Is that weird? I don’t think so.

Fast forward to today, Versify is my work to serve God and to fulfill His purpose for me. Surrendering myself and Versify into His hands, letting Him take full control. It is just so beautiful when we acknowledge Him in everything we do; the perspective of working shifts, and the wonders of God’s work arises.

Just feeling so blessed to work in Him.

As months past, working in Christ has really helped me get closer to Him, wanting to seek Him more and more. I’ve changed, I’m new, and I’m starting this incredible journey lead by Him.

You may ask, why are you doing such a thing at this time of your life?

Here’s why. It is a fire that burns in me. Have you ever had gut feelings before? Well, mine is similar, but it’s more of a spiritual calling, and I’m more than ready to move forward. The cool thing is, there’s no such thing as worries for the future, or whether Versify fails or not. There’s no doubt, or hesitation for this risk. Because, all these is in God’s hands, His control; and whatever the result may be, I will be rejoicing in the Lord for I’m blessed to have this opportunity.

Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Living by sentences in a book? No. I’m living with a connection in Christ!
